The Process Over view
This is what happens when a page is opened with the Express Media Player System installed. 1) When the Jamroom page is loaded two things happen A.Using an include call we place the appropiate emp_play_link into the page and B. The jr_emplayer_js.tpl file is loaded in the background. The play link files are loaded from the Emp_links folder in your skins directory and the jr_emplayer_js.tpl file is also loaded from your skin directory. 2) As the jr_emplayer_js.tpl file loads it calls the relevant play script files needed to deal with the loaded play links in the page. The play script files are loaded from the Emp_default folder in your skin directory 3) When a user clicks on a play link it triggers and populates the jr_emplayer_js.tpl with the appropiate information that allows it to write to the new window that pops up and begins to play the media on the users screeen. Simple! Well yes and no but that is my problem all you need to know is that it works very well and it eliminates your users ability to stream the file in their on board player where they can manipulate and save or download a stream only file. Hope this helps Cheers Kirk Created by: admin last modification: Wednesday 16 of July, 2008 [01:47:00 UTC] by admin |
